| 11 | لَا تَسْمَعُ فِيهَا لَاغِيَةً | Where they shall hear no (word) of vanity. | Wherein you shall not hear vain talk. | Where they hear no idle speech. |
| 12 | فِيهَا عَيْنٌ جَارِيَةٌ | Therein will be a bubbling spring. | Therein is a fountain flowing. | Wherein is a gushing spring. |

| 14 | وَأَكْوَابٌ مَوْضُوعَةٌ | Goblets placed (ready). | And drinking-cups ready placed. | And goblets set at hand |

| 18 | وَإِلَى السَّمَاءِ كَيْفَ رُفِعَتْ | And at the Sky, how it is raised high?. | And the heaven, how it is reared aloft. | And the heaven, how it is raised? |
| 19 | وَإِلَى الْجِبَالِ كَيْفَ نُصِبَتْ | And at the Mountains, how they are fixed firm?. | And the mountains, how they are firmly fixed. | And the hills, how they are set up? |
| 20 | وَإِلَى الْأَرْضِ كَيْفَ سُطِحَتْ | And at the Earth, how it is spread out? | And the earth, how it is made a vast expanse? | And the earth, how it is spread? |
| 21 | فَذَكِّرْ إِنَّمَا أَنْتَ مُذَكِّرٌ | Therefore do thou give admonition, for thou art one to admonish. | Therefore do remind, for you are only a reminder. | Remind them, for thou art but a remembrancer. |
| 22 | لَسْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ بِمُسَيْطِرٍ | Thou art not one to manage (men's) affairs. | You are not a watcher over them. | Thou art not at all a warder over them. |
| 23 | إِلَّا مَنْ تَوَلَّى وَكَفَرَ | But if any turn away and reject Allah. | But whoever turns back and disbelieves. | But whoso is averse and disbelieveth. |
| 24 | فَيُعَذِّبُهُ اللَّهُ الْعَذَابَ الْأَكْبَرَ | Allah will punish him with a mighty Punishment. | Allah will chastise him with the greatest chastisement. | Allah will punish him with direst punishment. |
| 25 | إِنَّ إِلَيْنَا إِيَابَهُمْ | For to Us will be their return. | Surely to Us is their turning back. | Lo! unto Us is their return |
| 26 | ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا حِسَابَهُمْ | Then it will be for Us to call them to account. | Then surely upon Us is the taking of their account. | And Ours their reckoning. |
